21 September 2026. The Guardians of the Earth Foundation ETS website goes live today: a place to discover our mission, follow our projects and connect with people who share a practical commitment to animals and nature.
This new beginning grows from a story spanning more than forty years of daily care, observation and listening. Through the website, we want to give that experience a voice and open it to dialogue: sharing what we have learnt, what we are building and the future we hope to make possible.
A place to learn, understand and take part
The journey begins with the Foundation and its values and continues through the Ethical Sanctuary project: from the experience of the Pilot Sanctuary to the design of larger spaces, shaped around animals’ needs and continuity of protection.
The Study Centre offers in-depth reading for an informed introduction to the world of tortoises. Documents and transparency explains the foundations of our commitment; News and journal will follow its progress, one step at a time.
Our first step online, a journey to share
Thank you to everyone who helped make this milestone possible and to everyone arriving here for the first time. There are many ways to take part: reading, sharing the project, contributing expertise or choosing to become a Guardian.
The website is a meeting place, not a finishing line. It will continue to grow alongside our projects and the relationships we build.
