Forty years of experience precede the Foundation’s establishment. The current Pilot Sanctuary is the starting point for an expansion under study on approximately 10,000 m², already purchased by the founder and intended for the Foundation’s use. To preserve the animals’ peace, visits are not currently planned. We are designing an audiovisual system to share selected moments of their daily lives remotely, with respect for privacy. Possible admission of animals from outside follows a separate process, subject to the necessary authorisations and care capacity.
Objective
Develop habitats and refine a model of responsible management, with attention to animals’ needs and long-term sustainability.
